Certified Data Center Planning Confirms Security and Quality

In Andreas Eichhorn, SYCOR GmbH has a certified BICSI DC110 Data Center designer. This way, Sycor demonstrates its claim to high quality and security standards in the field of IT and TC services, also regarding services in setting up and running data centers - especially in its own data center.

The required inspection centered on the planning and design of data centers, as well as on reducing operating costs, safe electrical power supply, the use of innovative air-conditioning concepts, building security and the entire topic of technical and structural fire protection. The inspection addressed international as well as national standards such as BSI, TÜVIT, VdS, VDE, and DIN.

The inspection was conducted at Schnabel Academy (a subsidiary of Schnabel AG) in the highly-modern data center model in Frankfurt. Schnabel AG is a global designer of data centers, safety engineering and building automation with almost 40 years of experience. Sycor has worked with this company for many years.

The DC110 standard, developed by the organization BICSI Building Industry Consultant Services International on the basis of TIA-942, represents a globally recognized foundation for many international data center designs.
