Sycor supports the Business Performance Index (BPI)
Sycor supports the Business Performance Index (BPI) as an industry partner for the manufacturing industry. The BPI is a unique benchmark instrument which helps small and medium-sized companies identify their position in relation to their competitors.
"The Business Performance Index is an extremely effective strategic benchmark instrument for
small and medium-sized businesses which companies can use to compare themselves with their
competitors down to the process level. With minimal effort, they receive a valid, objective
analysis via an online check which enables them to identify their development-related needs and
opportunities and optimize their business in a goal-oriented manner," explains Dr. Steffen Gremler
of the Sycor executive board. "As a longstanding IT and SAP partner for small and medium-sized

Business Performance Index (BPI)
The Business Performance Index (BPI) is an initiative from prestigious marketing research
company techconsult. The process efficiency, level of IT support and sophistication of innovative
IT solutions in small and medium-sized companies are studied by means of a representative long-term
study. In addition to the manufacturing industry, indices are also collected for the service and
retail sectors. The results of the study form the basis of the BPI online check.
The long-term collection of data is made possible by the support of software and consulting
companies SAP, Sycor, itelligence AG, INFO AG, TDS, cormeta and TRIAS. The BPI receives
non-material and content-related support from software selection consultants Trovarit and from the
German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW) in particular.
