"While at the business vocational school I realized I wanted to do
something else. I'd always enjoyed building networks and working on PCs. I wanted to turn my hobby
into a career and so I decided to do an internship at Sycor which lasted one year. Right from the
beginning I liked the relaxed atmosphere and friendly coworkers, plus the wide variety of tasks I
was given. I liked the work so much that I applied for an apprenticeship in a technical area of
Sycor and was really happy to be accepted. Since then I've been working in customer support at
Sycor, where I'm responsible for incoming problems and troubleshooting. Each day I'm challenged to
find new solutions. I like the variety of tasks here and I learn something new every day. Soon I'll
be starting a rotation through all the departments of Technical Operations. This way, I'll learn
about server and storage systems, operation of applications for ERP systems or technical
purchasing. I'm already looking forward to the area of voice and data communication. I think it's a
really exciting area and I'd like to get to know it better through actual customer projects."
Jonas Kunze was already working with PCs at the age of 10. He started out playing computer
games and then began building home networks. Before long, he became the one his friends and
acquaintances would go to with their IT problems. Born in 1991, Jonas is a Duderstadt native and
enjoys practicing photography in his spare time.
